An agitated Indian bride is going viral for slapping her husband over chewing tobacco during their wedding ceremony. The video is doing rounds on social media, with netizens lauding the woman as they shared the same sentiments.
Tobacco is injurious to health but once a person gets addicted to it, it’s extremely hard to break that habit. But other than the fact that people risk their lives, people around them also feel uncomfortable. It is indeed a habit that many despise.
Similarly, when a groom was chewing tobacco, even during the wedding rituals, his wife slapped him and yelled at him to spit it out. Take a look.

While social media users lauded the woman for doing the right thing, some pointed out that it was actually a comedy skit and not a real incident.
Turns out, a man named Chandan Mishra regularly posts comedy skits and this one was posted in April 2020. In fact, the bride and groom have appeared in several other videos, playing different characters.
Regardless, consumption of tobacco shall not be encouraged and even if it’s just an act, we should appreciate that the bride tried to stop her husband, but perhaps she got a little extreme.
