Here are the top 10 films that Pakistanis are currently streaming on Netflix.

10. Qala

Premiered on 1 December 2022, Qala is an Indian psychological horror film from Bulbbul director Anvita Dutt Guptan. The film is a fictional period drama that revolves around the titular character (Tripiti Dimri), a talented singer who is haunted by her past and has to cope with her domineering mother (played by Swastika Mukherjee).

The film also features a special cameo from Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, who appears in the song Ghodey Pe Sawaar.

Qala is a visual treat that brilliantly explores disturbing topics while presenting sympathetic but morally grey characters.

9. Tara vs Bilal

Set in a vibrant and diverse London, the rom-com is about a vivacious yet sensitive Tara (Sonia Rathee) and a reclusive charmer Bilal (Harshavardhan Rane) who enter into a fake marriage but later fall for each other.

8. Doctor G

Released on 14 October 2022, the Ayushmann Khurrana starrer became a hit for its hilarious premise. Khurrana plays an aspiring student, Uday Gupta, looking to make a name for himself in the medical field.

However, he ends up as a lone male student in the gynecology department as hilarity ensues with the young doctor forming friendships with his female classmates and learning more about female anatomy.

Crime documentaries are always popular on Netflix, and an in-depth look into the Mumbai underworld is just what Pakistanis crave.

Mumbai Mafia features eyebrow-raising interviews with India’s notorious cops who have encountered gangsters from Dawood Ibrahim’s criminal network.

6. Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery

A highly anticipated sequel to 2019 hit Hollywood film Knives Out, Daniel Craig reprised his role as Detective Benoit Blanc, who takes on a new case that revolves around a tech billionaire, Miles Bron (played by Edward Norton), and his close friends.

A light rom-com with some Punjabi flair, Honeymoon is about Deep (Gippy Grewal) and Sukh (Jasmin Bhasin) who consent to an arranged marriage, then embark on a fun-filled journey full of unexpected events.

After stealing the show in Monica, O My Darling, Huma Qureshi makes it on the list of the Top 10 list with Double XL with co-star Sonakshi Sinha.

The film is about two plus-size women, one from Uttar Pradesh, and the other from New Delhi, as they go on a friendship vacation of self-discovery, body positivity, and crushing the outdated perception of beauty with body size.

Unfortunately, the film was a massive flop.

A classic survivor thriller, Janhvi Kapoor shines as Mili, a young girl who is abducted and finds herself locked in a freezer.

With no possible way out, and every second ticking away, Mili must find a way to survive and escape her captors.

A chilling period mystery/crime thriller, The Pale Blue Eye is based on the novel of the same name by Louis Bayard.

Set in the 1830s, Hollywood star Christian Bale stars as detective Augustus Landor. The veteran detective investigates a series of gruesome murders with a help of a young cadet, who will eventually go on to become “The Comanche of Literature”, Edgar Allan Poe.

And the No.1 most popular movie on Netflix Pakistan is Thai Massage. The film is about a 70-year-old widower, Atmaram Dubey (played by Gajraj Rao) who has been celibate for decades and would likely never have sex, thus deciding to try out the taboo “Thai massage” at least once in his life.
