Another day, another strange news. In an unexpected turn of events, an Indian woman has filed a case against her husband for hiding his baldness.
As per the reports, a 27-year-old chartered accountant from Thane (a city just outside Mumbai) has registered a complaint against her husband. She accused him of cheating her by hiding his baldness.
The police has registered a case against him upon the woman’s complaint under Sections 406 and 500 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Naya Nagar Police Station in Thane.
She alleged that her husband’s family hid the fact that he is bald. The 27-year-old said that her husband had been wearing a wig and if she knew he was bald, she wouldn’t have married him in the first place.
The woman claimed that she got to know about her husband’s baldness a day after the marriage and when she reached out to her in-laws they did not consider it as a serious matter.
The man has filed a petition in a Thane court which asked him to surrender before the police.
