Amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, the online battlefield has taken a petty turn. Some Indian users—and likely a bunch of bots—have been sneaking into Pakistan’s subreddit groups on Reddit just to downvote every post to zero. Their goal? Intimidation, or maybe just showing off how much free time they have.
But Pakistanis aren’t bothered one bit. Instead, they’re having a good laugh at the sheer ridiculousness of it all. The online community is trolling back with hilarious posts like “Tank spotted in Lahore,” which is actually just a water tanker rolling down the street.
Tank spotted in the streets of Lahore.

This online pettiness comes at a time when India has launched unprovoked drone attacks across multiple cities in Pakistan and continues to threaten war. Despite Pakistan’s repeated restraint and calls for peace, India keeps pushing a false narrative to its own people, accusing Pakistan of attacks without any proof.
Adding to the online drama, Indian social media is currently bragging about shooting down a Pakistani F-16 jet and capturing one of our pilots. However, the Pakistan Army has officially denied any F-16s flying into India or any such attack from Pakistan. Despite this, Indians continue to boast loudly on social media.
Pakistanis have taken this in stride, hilariously trolling back by sarcastically “admitting” to the claims. They share memes featuring popular Pakistani actors like Hamza Ali Abbasi as the captured pilot or post fake pilot names such as “Janabuddin urf Adaabuddin,” turning the whole situation into a comedy show.
While India fuels misinformation and aggression, Pakistanis remain calm and use humor to expose the absurdity of these tactics—both online and off. After all, when you’re standing strong, there’s no need to take petty downvotes seriously.
