Britain’s longest reigning monarch and nations figurehead for seven decades Queen Elizabeth II has died peacefully at Balmoral. While the world mourns her death, Indians and Pakistani are feeling indifferent. The two nations had been suppressed by the British Empire for many years before gaining freedom.
Indians took to Twitter to call out the British Monarch for looting India for 150 years, accusing them of “stealing the world’s largest diamond Koh-i-Noor. Queen Elizabeth II was the monarch of 15 countries. Earlier yesterday her family gathered at her Scottish estate after concerns grew about her health. And now after the demise of the Queen her son Prince Charles has officially taken the helm and has been branded as the King of England. And as the monarch’s direct heir Prince William is expected to become the Prince of Wales.
