The Parizaad star explained
“Ali’s sister Mariam Ansari is a really good friend of mine. Sajal and I have also done a project with Ali Ansari. Mariam always used to say that, ‘I want to find a nice girl for my brother’ and I have suggested many girls to Ali. Mariam has many times insisted me to get married to Ali. Mariam even talked to Sajal about it. Sajal too wanted me to get married to Ali and they convinced us to talk to each other and decide.”
