Netizens recently found an old tweet of YouTuber/actor Arslan Naseer and are now calling him a hypocrite for attending the 8th Hum Awards in Canada because of it. In the old tweet, he openly mocked celebrities for attending award shows while the country was in dire straits and called them sellouts for “enjoying” a free trip to Canada.

Now, Naseer himself is facing backlash for his appearance at the Hum Awards in Ontario on 24 September, and more so for his double standards.

The YouTuber has come a long way from being a corporate employee to making funny CBA (Comics by Arslan) reviews, and starring with Aymen Saleem in the hit drama serial Paristan. He got his due recognition from the showbiz industry when he won the ‘Best Sensation Male’ at this year’s Hum Awards.

Many of his followers and the CBA army are thrilled at his accomplishment but others are not. However, they are not upset with his award but at his appearance at the award show after what he had said in 2018.

Here’s what people are saying about Naseer on social media.

The 8th Hum Awards have been under heavy criticism due to the ongoing flood crisis in Pakistan. People are furious with the celebrities who left their country to enjoy the award ceremony in Canada instead of lending a helping hand at home.
