Pakistani actor Ahsan Khan has been hosting the show Time Out with Ahsan Khan. In one of the show’s segments ‘cry & yell,’ Ahsan Khan asks his guests questions and if the guests are unable to guess the right answer they are punished. Their punishment is that an adorable furry rabbit will be placed on their laps. The same was done with many guests, including Maya Ali.
After a video of Maya Ali hysterically screaming at a rabbit goes viral, netizens are now wondering if would be considered animal abuse. Rabbits are sensitive animals and because they are prey animals, they freeze when they are afraid. In addition to this, rabbits are also extremely fragile. They need to be held firmly but gently. Not everyone knows the proper way of handling these furry creatures.

There have been many serious cases of animal abuse in the country. However, Pakistani law forbids citizens to treat animals with cruelty. Every animal has specific needs and unless people know how to care for their pets, they should not keep one.
