Boomers, Gen Xers and Millennials, get excited because this is your time to shine! Your favorite detective series, Inspector Jamshed by Ishtiaq Ahmed is being into a web series and will soon be available on OTT platforms.
C1 Shorts released the trailer on Saturday, Sep 5 and we are thrilled to see the characters from our childhood come to life.
“Pakistan’s most favorite Detective Stories – Dot Republic Media presents Inspector Jamshed Series, written by renowned Pakistani author Ishtiaq Ahmed; the #CreatorsOne digital series is being directed by Fahad Noor,” read the caption of the trailer.
The detective series will have the essence of the original work. The idea is to teach valuable life lessons to the younger generation, just like the novels.
“The series along with its suspense, intensity and action will focus on building locally relevant and meaningful content to empower parents with improving the moral and ethical values of their young ones, where Inspector Jamsehd along with his kids Mehmood, Farooq, and Farzana solve cases and save the day!”
Ishtiaq Ahmed’s famous crime fiction series is finally getting a web adaptation. By the looks of it, this seems very promising. The cinematography and the sound quality is great and we are looking forward to streaming it online soon.
Ishtiaq Ahmed has authored hundreds of suspense thriller novels in Urdu for children.
Other than Inspector Jamshed, the novelist has also written Inspector Kamran Mrza and Shoki Brothers series. He also published books called ‘Khas Numbers’ in which he would bring all three detective parties together and solve crimes and cases.

One of the best childhood memories. It is really good to see such kind of dramas base on Ishtiaq ahmed saab novels. Others characters like shoki brothers and Inspector kamran series also suppose to be start after this. Awesome action taken. Keep it up
