Japanese Man Climbs Malaysia’s Highest Peak in Style [Videos]

Fashion meets adventure.

In a display of sheer determination and style, a Japanese man successfully climbed Mount Kinabalu, the highest mountain in Malaysia, in a stylish three-piece suit and leather shoes.

The last thing any climber expects to see a top of a treacherous 4,095 mountain is a businessman, but that’s exactly what happened.

Nobutaka Sada, a Japanese tailor and adventurer, gained worldwide attention for not just climbing a mountain in flat leather shoes but looked good doing it.

The news of Sada’s incredible feat has spread like wildfire on social media, with many hailing him as a fashion icon and an inspiration for daredevils.

The climb to the peak of Mount Kinabalu was no easy feat. The mountain stands at a height of 4,095 meters (13,435 feet) above sea level and is known for its steep slopes and rugged terrain. However, Sada pushed on, taking in the breathtaking scenery along the way.

This isn’t Nobutaka Sada’s first time scaling a mountain in a pristine suit. Previously, Mr. Sada climbed Japan’s 26th tallest peak Mount Shirouma, which is 2,932 meters tall.

That’s not all! In the past, the crazy Japanese businessman has ran the Tokyo marathon, skied the icy slopes of Hokkaido, and even went scuba diving in the Genkai sea, all while wearing his slick and stylish suit.

Mr. Sada is very fond of his three-piece suit as he talks about how it holds up in all situations. We’re not sure what kind of “business meeting” requires him to climb a mountain but we are confident he is definitely the right man for the job!
