After Peshawar Zalmi was brutally defeated by Lahore Qalandars at the opening match of Pakistan Super League 2021, netizens heavily trolled the Zalmi team. Not just for losing the match but for putting more thought into the team’s brand ambassadors than the actual player line-up.
Sports fans called out the weak strategy for Zalmi’s opening match. Some balmed Zalmi CEO Javed Afridi for splurging on brand ambassadors when he should have invested in the best players. PSL2 winners did not affirm a strong presence in PSL6.
