‘Jealous!’: Fahad Mustafa Under Criticism By BTS Army For Dismissing the Korean Band

The talented star Fahad Mustafa is all set to shine on silver screens with his upcoming film ‘Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad’ opposite stunning Mahira Khan. The stars are nowadays on a journey for the promotion of their film. But his recent interview got the traction of netizens for all the wrong reasons. Especially the K-pop BTS boy band fans.

Recently the starlet appeared in an interview with a magazine and shared about their struggles and all the hard work behind this most awaited film. Talking about his daughter Fahd Mustafa shared that she is not a big fan of him instead she loves K-pop band BTS more than him.

BTS also known as the Bangtan Boys, is a South Korean boy band that debuted in 2013. The band consists of members Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook co-write and co-produce much of their own output. Originally a hip-hop group, their musical style has since evolved to incorporate a wider range of genres.

Their lyrics often contain personal and social commentary on the themes of mental health, troubles of school-age youth and coming of age, loss, the journey towards loving oneself, and individualism. The group has a large, highly-organized, online community of fans, known as ARMY. It is the most followed band on YouTube as well as other social media channels.

Recently in an interview, the Kankar star shared that his daughter Fatima is an ARMY — one of the unfailingly loyal fans of K-pop supergroup BTS and he doesn’t really like it very much. When the host asked him if he listens to BTS, to which he replied,

“No, hell no! I don’t care if she listens to them or not. I don’t even know her favorite song. I didn’t even know what BTS stands for I thought it was a ‘Behind The Scenes’ band. To which my daughter said no papa, that’s some ‘bangtan tol’ something”

Talking about her craze for K-pop he said,

“She can even speak the Korean language and is crazy about Korean dramas as well. She doesn’t even know Sindhi and I want her to speak Sindhi not some Korean.”
