Junaid Jamshed’s youngest son, Babur Junaid Jamshed recently tied the knot. Babur has always been a hushed profile in Pakistan and has kept his family away from the media’s glare.  He rarely updates his social media for the public, but when he does it’s always to keep his ardent fan following of Pakistanis up to date with any important occasions in his life. Babur announced on his Facebook profile that he has gotten nikkah-fied.

Junaid Jamshed was a Pakistani singer-songwriter, television personality, fashion designer, actor, and preacher. After graduating with a degree in engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology in Lahore, Jamshed briefly worked as a civilian contractor and engineer for the Pakistan Air Force before focusing on a musical career.

Jamshed first gained nationwide and international recognition as the vocalist of Vital Signs. Their 1987 album, Vital Signs 1 included the hit singles “Dil Dil Pakistan”, and “Tum Mil Gaye”. The commercial success of the album helped develop Pakistan’s rock music industry.

In 2004, Jamshed officially renounced music after announcing that he had devoted his life to Islam. After that, he served Islam and guided people to the righteous path. Junaid then left engineering and, to supplement his income, he opened the clothing store “J.
