Kangana Ranaut is at it again. This time the Bollywood diva is defending Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Nupur Sharma.
The BJP spokesperson made abusive comments about the Muslim prophet, Muhammad (peace be upon him), that even her political party is not condoning.
Her comments were criticized on the international front. Countries like the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Oman, Indonesia, Iraq, the Maldives, Jordan, Libya, and Bahrain strongly condemned her comments.
Meanwhile, the Woh Lamhe actor took to her Instagram to defend politician Nupur Sharma’s controversial remarks. She stated that because there are ‘non-practicing Muslims’ in India, reprimanding the BJP politician is uncalled for.
“Many of my Muslim friends drink, smoke, have premarital sex, don’t wear a burka, use swear words, eat pork and because of work situations at times don’t even follow all guidelines… it’s fine beauty of India’s freedom nahi toh not just Nupur but everyone will become criminals.”
The Queen actress doesn’t make much sense. However, this isn’t the fisrt time she didn’t make sense amid her support for BJP. She previously defended Nupur Sharmasaying;
“Nupur is entitled to her opinions, this is not Afghanistan, we have a properly functioning government which is chosen with a process called democracy… just a reminder for those who keep forgetting.”
