A teen was arrested in the Kasur District for allegedly killing a man over years-long of sexual abuse. The Changa Manga police detained him on Sunday.
According to the police, the suspect shot dead his alleged abuser on Friday and threw his body into the Changa Manga forest. He was then shifted to Chunian THQ Hospital for autopsy
Details reveal that the two had worked together in an auto workshop in Lahore and that the suspect was sexually abused and blackmailed by the 35-year-old dead man.
The teen is reported to be 17-year-old. He was arrested yesterday with the help of a call data record. During the investigation, he had allegedly confessed to his crime, after which a murder case was lodged against him.
In recent years, many incidents of child sexual abuse have emerged in Kasur. In 2018, the rape and murder of 8-year-old Zainab sent shock waves across the country.
The culprit, Imran Ali was brought to justice in October 2018 at Lahore’s Kot Lakhpat Central Jail. He was executed in the presence of both Magistrate Adil Sarwar and the deceased’s father, Muhammad Amin Ansari. Zainab’s uncle was also present there.
