Katy Perry and Miranda Kerr walked the red carpet at the 20th annual G’Day USA Arts Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday, January 28, 2023, according to Page Six.
Katy Perry looked stunning in a gold suit by the Australian label Zimmerman. The 38-year-old singer is engaged to the supermodel’s ex-husband Orlando Bloom.
The California Gurls singer has a daughter with Orlando, Daisy Dove, who is two years old.
Perry wore a metallic bra top with a matching ballgown-style skirt. The singer accessorized her look with gold bracelets, gold drop earrings, and a dazzling updo.
Meanwhile, Miranda Kerr, 39, who won the Excellence in the Arts award, wore a white strapless, ruffled cocktail dress.
The former Victoria’s Secret model wore sparkling silver earrings and silver shoes, and her hair was styled in traditional loose waves.
At the ceremony, Katy introduced Miranda, who has a son named Flynn, 11, with Bloom.
Katy said,
Some of you might be confused about why I’m introducing Miranda. That doesn’t play into the antiquated narrative of ex-wives and new wives.
Moreover, she stated,
And yes, it’s true, most of the media would like to see us mud wrestle, including [her husband] Evan [Spiegel], but we are here to lead by love because Miranda is love. And as a lot of you know, love comes in many family iterations
The singer added,
I am proud to be family with a woman who is living her truth every day with grace and beauty.
Katy joked by saying,
Miranda Kerr, who has kids Flynn, 12 yrs old, Hart, 4 years old, and Myles, 3 years old, with Spiegel, is committed to her three beautiful boys, her spouse, and her blazing hot physique.
The Fireworks singer concluded by saying, ” I’m so grateful for our modern blended family. It’s like I gained another sister, one with whom I usually sidebar from the main family chat and agree with”.
