As the last episode of Khuda Aur Mohabbat 3 was aired fans of the drama serial were left in tears. While we did get closure, we didn’t get the happy ending we so desperately wanted for our characters.

We see our protagonists die after they finally meet again. Throughout the entire course of the drama, fans waited for Mahi and Farhad to reunite. Yet, when they finally meet again they pass on to the next world.

Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi’s 7th Sky Entertainment production finally came to an end after a long haul and several viewership records. The drama serial creamed the previous king in this regard, Mere Paas Tum Ho.
The Khuda Aur Mohabbat franchise had been deliberating the third installment for years now. Initially, the actor who played the original protagonist of the series, Imran Abbas was approached for the role. However, when he backed out they revamped the story.
The third season was an independent story from the previous two seasons. Aside from the separate storyline the drama serial had a different writer and lacked the spiritual accuracy of the initial two seasons.
