Reality TV sensation Kim Kardashian is gearing up for another stint in the acting world, teaming up with renowned creator Ryan Murphy for an upcoming legal drama set to air on Hulu.
Fresh off her appearance in Season 12 of American Horror Story (AHS), Kim Kardashian is set to make waves as a successful divorce lawyer in this latest venture, backed by a series commitment from the streaming giant.
In this strategic collaboration with Ryan Murphy, co-creator of AHS and other hit series, Kim will portray a formidable divorce lawyer leading an all-female law firm in the bustling city of Los Angeles. The legal drama marks a significant addition to Hulu’s content library, especially given the platform’s association with the reality series Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Heading the creative team, Jon Robin Baitz, known for his role in Murphy’s upcoming Feud: Capote vs. the Swans, takes charge of writing the series. Collaborating with him is Joseph Baken, a seasoned writer with notable contributions to the American Horror Story spinoff, American Horror Stories.
Baitz, acclaimed for his creation of Brothers & Sisters and his work on The Slap, brings a wealth of experience to the legal drama, promising an engaging narrative. Meanwhile, Baken, having penned two episodes for the recent season of American Horror Stories, is well-versed in Murphy’s creative universe.
This legal drama isn’t Kim Kardashian’s sole project in the entertainment industry; she is also involved in a comedy film titled The Fifth Wheel. In this film, Kardashian embraces the role of an outsider in a group of four female friends. Netflix secured the rights to the film after a competitive bidding war in November.
