Love Guru held its grand premiere in Lahore on Thursday night, drawing a glittering crowd from the country’s entertainment industry. The event took place ahead of the film’s Eid-ul-Adha 2025 release and was attended by leading stars, filmmakers, and celebrities.
Superstars Mahira Khan and Humayun Saeed, who headline the film, walked the red carpet alongside co-stars Ramsha Khan, Ahmed Ali Butt, Sohai Ali Abro, Momina Iqbal, Mira Sethi, Ammara Malik, and Vardah Aziz. Veteran actors Javed Sheikh, Marina Khan, Usman Peerzada, and Annie Zaidi also feature in the ensemble cast.
The premiere was a star-studded affair, with appearances by industry icons such as Syed Noor, Resham, Fawad Khan, Saim Ali, Samina Peerzada, Nadia Jamil, Sohail Ahmed, and Asma Abbas. Celebrity couple Urwa Hocane and Farhan Saeed, actor Zara Noor Abbas, and designer Hasan Sheheryar Yasin (HSY) were also present.
Love Guru is written by Vasay Chaudhry and directed by Nadeem Baig. The film, described as the “biggest entertainer of the year,” has now arrived in cinemas worldwide as of June 6.
The film marks the much-awaited on-screen reunion of Mahira Khan and Humayun Saeed, a decade after their hit drama Bin Roye. The duo recently promoted Love Guru in Dubai, where parts of the film—including the song “Aa Tenu”—were shot at iconic locations like Palm Jumeirah.
Their chemistry in the film’s new track “Bekhabreya” has already won fans over, and both stars have expressed excitement about bringing a fresh, family-friendly romantic comedy to audiences this Eid
