In yet another shocking incident, a 22-year-old man from Lahore accidentally shot himself while filming a TikTok video.
According to police, the incident took place in Lahore’s Sundar Sharif area where 22-year-old Dawood was making a TikTok video with his pistol. Dawood accidentally pulled the trigger and shot himself in the eye.
At the time of the incident, he was accompanied by his 25-year-old friend. Dawood died on the spot, while his friend received bullet wounds and was shifted to a hospital.
TikTok claims another life
On October 3, an incident was reported from Karachi where a 13-year-old boy had lost his life while making a video for the social networking platform.
The teen was killed and three people were injured as they were ran over by a hi-roof while making a TikTok video at Lyari expressway.
It is pertinent to note here that on October 9, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) had banned the app in the country.
However, the ban was lifted on October 19 as TikTok’s management assured that they will abide by the Pakistani laws and block accounts that upload indecent and immoral content.
