Pop star Lana Del Rey has released her latest single, “Bluebird,” a gentle, fingerpicked ballad that’s winning hearts worldwide. This is her second song in just two weeks, following “Henry, Come On,” released on April 11. Fans are buzzing about the new track, which hints at her upcoming tenth album.
Lana Del Rey co-wrote “Bluebird” with Luke Laird, a country music producer, and co-produced it with Laird and Drew Erickson. The song’s soft melody and poetic lyrics, like “Little bird, bluebird, fly away for both of us,” carry her signature dreamy style.
It’s a taste of her shift toward country sounds, perfect for her performance at the Stagecoach Festival on April 25.
Her next album, once called Lasso and later The Right Person Will Stay, is still a mystery. Del Rey had announced a May 21 release, but in a now-deleted Instagram video, she said the title has changed again and the album won’t arrive on time. “You know it’s not gonna come on time, right?” she teased fans.
Despite the delay, her 13-track project, worked on with producers like Jack Antonoff, promises a mix of Americana and country vibes.
“Bluebird” has sparked excitement on social media, with fans sharing love for its emotional depth. “Lana’s voice feels like a warm hug,” one fan posted on X. After headlining Coachella in 2024, Del Rey’s Stagecoach set is highly anticipated.
