However, in order to debunk these fake rumors, Pakistani actress Bushra Ansari took to social media to share her conversation on the phone with the man himself.

Since Friday evening, there have been multiple reports about the “Dekha Na Tha” singer’s passing away on social media. The legendary actress Bushra took to her social media account to prove that he is alive and well after talking with him about his health.
She shared a video of her conversation with Alamgir as well. She also shared how the Alamgir has been fighting his illness bravely and has given him a nickname, which is ‘Bengali.’

“I was so scared when I came to know about the rumors,” the Bay Dardi actress said in the video. I’ve become habitual of you! Now that you have lived 100 years, you don’t have a right to die anymore. I’ve asked everyone to stop spreading false news. There are already so many sad incidents we have been hearing, I would never want to hear something like this.”
To which the iconic singer, Alamgir, can be heard laughing and saying,
“I will not die before 200.”
Bushra Ansari concluded the call with,
“I love you and please, just stay safe.”
