Finally, some good news for Maula Jatt and Noori Nath fans as the Lahore High Court (LHC) has ordered an early hearing on the petition against the release of Bilal Lashari’s ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt.’

The defense counsel Buzdar Haider informed the court on Wednesday that the makers of the film had completed the arrangements for the publicity and release of ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt,’ thereby requesting an early hearing of the petition.

Justice Ameen-ud-din of LHC fixed the hearing for the coming week, local media reports said.

‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’ is an all-new reboot of the famous movie Maula Jatt from 1979. The film was initially set to hit cinemas in March this year.

Previously, the court halted the release of the film over a plea filed by Mohammad Sarwar Bhatti of Bahoo Films, who blamed Lashari of indulging in copyright infringement.

The first trailer of the movie was released in December last year, and the cinematography, characterization and Hollywood-level production blew away fans. Many fans are now anxiously waiting for the release of the film.

In case the movie is cleared for release, the Legend of Maula Jatt will enthrall audiences this Eid-ul-Fitr. The star-studded cast of the film features the likes of Fawad Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Mahira Khan, and many others.
