Dubai-based Hollywood sensation Lindsay Lohan made a glamorous appearance at the premiere of the musical movie Mean Girls in New York this week.
The actress, who tied the knot with Bader Shammas in 2022 and recently became a mother, graced the ‘pink carpet’ in a stunning black Alexandre Vauthier dress from the brand’s Spring/Summer 2023 couture collection.
Lohan’s long-sleeved gown featured peek-a-boo cutouts in the middle and boasted jeweled detailing on the waist, adding a touch of elegance to her ensemble.
She complemented the look with a matching black clutch adorned with a dazzling buckle and ankle-strap heels. Dangling silver earrings and loose waves cascading over one shoulder completed her red carpet-ready look.
The Mean Girls premiere was a star-studded affair, with Lindsay Lohan and writer-producer Tina Fey reuniting with original cast members Daniel Franzese (Damian Hubbard) and Rajiv Surrendra (Kevin Gnapoor).
The musical movie, directed by Samantha Jayne and Arturo Perez Jr., stars Australian actress Angourie Rice in the lead role of Cady Heron, stepping into Lohan’s iconic shoes.
The event marked a nostalgic celebration of the 2004 comedy classic, and the cast, including Reneé Rapp, Jon Hamm, Jenna Fischer, and others, joined forces to present the 2024 version to fans. Tina Fey, who wrote both the original film and the musical, reprised her role as Ms. Norbury.
Lindsay Lohan, who has called Dubai home since 2017, celebrated the new year in the vibrant city with her husband, Kuwaiti financier Bader Shammas, and their baby boy, Luai.
The couple welcomed their first child in July in Dubai, with Lohan sharing the joyful news of her pregnancy in March 2023 through an Instagram post featuring a white onesie with the caption “coming soon.”
