Top actress Mahira Khan bags another international accolade for her outstanding performance in Pakistani cinema. The actress has won the award for best actress at this year’s Indus Valley International Film Festival.
Mahira Khan earned the award for her performance in 2015 musical drama film Ho Mann Jahan, which also won an award at the festival.
Filmmaker Asim Raza took to his Instagram to share the news. He wrote,
“Thrilled! Overjoyed! Humbled! Would like to thank the jury at the Indus Valley International Film Festival and our stellar team who made this possible.”

The South Asia Forum for Art & Creative Heritage (SAFACH) organized South Asia’s first international traveling/border-less film festival.
Along with Ho Mann Jahaan, films like Moor, Punjab Nahi Jaungi, Motorcycle Girl and documentary Pakistan’s Best Kept Secrets represented Pakistan and won awards in various categories.
The festival was held online and film actors, directors and producers from all over South Asia took part in it virtually.
