Pakistan’s sweetheart seems to be starting her own production venture! Mahira Khan shared the news of her production debut on Instagram.
Many movie stars before the Humsafar actress have already established themselves in the production realm from Humayun Saeed and Fahad Mustafa to Hareem Farooq. Looks like now Mahira Khan is venturing into those waters as well.
The Superstar actress talked about appeasing her inner story-teller with her Nina Kashif.
“There is a story behind everything and I live for stories – hearing them and telling them.”

Mahira Khan announced that she has launched her own production house ‘SoulFry Films‘.

Mahira Khan already has her own entertainment web portal Mashion.pk, about time she dived into production as well. Maybe we’ll get to see her helm a project as a director too soon?

As for her first production, it’s a sports story titled ‘Baarwan Khiladi’! Talk about awakening our inner cricket fan.

The Bin Roye actress has kept mum on her first project as a producer, and only shared two posters.
The posters did give us hints that the script is written by Shahid Dogar, and directed by Adnan Sarwar.
Meanwhile, Mahira dropped hints pertaining to the cast. We’re guessing the Baarwan Khiladi cast includes Daniyal Zafar, Shahveer Jaffry, Mohsin Gillani, Saba Faisal, Kinza Hashmi, Mira Sethi, Hina Ashfaq, Sarmad Khoosat, Fawad Jalal, Meer Yousuf, Khaqan Shahnawaz, Rao Ali Khan, and Zarrar Khan.
