Man Hangs Himself While Playing PUBG

A life lost, just like that.

PUBG

A young lad ended his life in an unfortunate manner and people think the massively popular mobile game PUBG is to blame. The 21-year-old man hanged himself while playing the popular online game.

The deceased individual has been identified as Shivam and he was a resident of Kanpur, India.

As per available reports, Shivam was an IT graduate who originally belonged to Gonda District. He moved to Kanpur in search of a job and was living at his grandmother’s house where he took the drastic step.

His family members claimed that he was addicted to PUBG and used to play the game for hours on his smartphone.

They also claimed that he was playing PUBG in his room so they didn’t know when he hanged himself from the ceiling fan. After discovering his lifeless body, the family called the police.

Post-mortem reports confirm that Shivam committed suicide.

More PUBG Deaths

PUBG has given rise to fears of addiction to this online game among young adults. Reports state that playing video games for hours without a break has claimed hundreds of lives this year.

Earlier this month, a teenage boy allegedly died of cardiac arrest while playing the game on his smartphone for six straight hours. He became unresponsive after shouting ‘blast it, blast it”.

A similar incident occurred last month in India where a 16-year-old collapsed on the floor after shouting.
