It is no surprise that Pakistan’s fiery pacer Naseem Shah has taken the world by storm with his incredible cricketing skills, earning the admiration of fans worldwide, including football fans.

That’s right, the English Premier League’s iconic Manchester United ‘love’ Naseem Shah as the football club expressed their admiration for the young pacer on its official Instagram page.

The club shared a click of Naseem Shah on his visit to Old Trafford, sporting the Red Devils’ black scarf ahead of Man Utd’s Carabao Cup clash against Newcastle United.

The 20-year-old is seen standing in front of the club’s iconic logo. The caption read,

United we love you! 🥰

Naseem Shah, who was sadly ruled out of Pakistan’s World Cup squad due to injury, attended the game alongside former cricketer Mohammad Yusuf as clips of the duo, sitting in the stands, went viral on social media.

The fiery young pacer’s absence from the ongoing ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023 has been a topic of concern for fans. Naseem had to withdraw from the tournament due to a shoulder injury sustained during the Asia Cup. He was promptly transported to London for a surgery.

Post-surgery, the 20-year-old has been advised a recovery period of four to six weeks, during which he will primarily focus on rehabilitation and physiotherapy to regain his physical fitness and strength. Once he completes this essential recuperation phase, he will resume practice sessions to prepare for his return to competitive cricket.
