It might surprise many, however, that the Marvel Studios chief is going to be developing a Star Wars movie as Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy makes new plans for a wave of projects set in the universe, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Currently, the latest Star Wars trilogy is drawing to a close with ‘The Rise of Skywalker’ as the third installment.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, co-chairman of Walt Disney Studios, Alan Horn, has reportedly said that it makes sense for Kathleen Kennedy to team up with Feige to help take the epic space-opera to a brand new direction in terms of storytelling.

As people continue to speculate, one source claims that Kevin Feige has already told one major actor about a potential role in the film, and that he would like them to be part of the new Star Wars film when he starts to work on this project.
