After winning hearts with their onscreen performance in Sabaat, Mawra Hocane and Ameer Gillani are set to share the screen again.
Ameer Gillani made quite an impact with his first prime-time drama serial. Prior to that, he made his drama debut with Log Kia Kahengay. However, it’s his onscreen chemistry with the Daasi actress that was his shot to fame.
He has been missing in action from the television screen ever since Sabaat, until now. In an interview with Fuschia Magazine, the Sammi actress shared that she and Ameer Gillani are set to share the screen again in an upcoming project.
Aside from Mawara Hocane and Ameer Gillani, the rest of the Sabaat team is also getting back together for this project.
The drama will be filmed in Kashmir and is bringing back the whole Sabaat team. Shahzad Kashmiri will be directing the project. Meanwhile, Kashif Anwar, who previously wrote Sabaat, penned the script for this new project.
He is also set to essay a role in the drama serial.
Based on what Mawra Hocane had to say, the drama serial will be another intense love story. However, there will be a good lesson embedded in all this, the importance of education and the obstacles people face in our society for getting an education.
