With everyone under quarantine due to the deadly spread of the coronavirus, celebrities are doing everything they can to stay in the news. Since there is no new movie to promote or any project to create some buzz around, most Pakistani actors and actresses try their best to stay relevant by talking about their day-to-day routine, conspiracy theories or some sort hashtag challenge to trend on social media. Of course, some of these end up making everyone cringe. However, Maya Ali seems to have the right idea as she has simply decided to stay off social media until things get better.

Pakistani actress Maya Ali has announced that she will be taking a short break from social media to detox, to find inner peace, and reset her whole system. Check out the post:

Posting an adorable photo on Instagram on Monday, the Mann Mayal actress said,

“Hello everyone, hope you’re all keeping well and doing great in quarantine. I know everyone is dealing with this in a different way but as I have mentioned already, there is always hope and this time shall pass too Insha ALLAH.

I am going to take a short break from social media. Everyone is doing their best in their own way to deal with this time. I thought it’s the best time to detox, to find inner peace and reset my whole system.I am grateful to ALLAH for all the blessings.

Sometimes we need time to think and count our blessings. My team will keep updating about the ration bags and yes I am very thankful to each and every person who has donated. This shouldn’t end until things don’t get back on track. Stay safe for yourself and for your loved ones. Talk to you all soon and love to all my fans.”

Well, with the sort of content, weird challenges and news of coronavirus that only promotes fear, we can all agree that we need a break from social media every now and then. We all need to find some inner peace and spend some time with our families.
