Meesha Shafi is a Pakistani actress, model, and singer. She’s acted in some big hit movies like Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, The Reluctant Fundamentalist, and Waar.
The fans particularly love her voice and have always promoted some of her famous songs. From Bholay Bhalay to Speaker Phaar, she’s given us all some nice songs to add to our playlist.
Currently, she was working on a long due album EP, which was set to release this year. But, given the lockdown situation, that might be impossible at this moment.
She’s collaborating for a song with Abdullah Siddiqui, a known musician who has made a name for himself in the EDM genre in Pakistan.
Abdullah’s song Resistance Nescafe Basement has a whopping 3.5 million views. The 18-year-old singer/songwriter already has an album to his name called Metannoya.
On a live stream on Instagram, the two of them shared with the public that they’re working on a duet Amrit together.
The biggest difference is language. I have been singing and writing in Urdu; Abdullah is producing this song I wrote in Urdu and to translate it into English and to discuss it and express its mood and communicate its feel, we looked at several visual references.
The two of them have created hype for their upcoming song in collaboration with each other.
