Meesha Shafi is not surprised but disappointed at HUM Style Awards for ‘celebrate/award/defend and supporting’ harassers and giving them space. The comment came after her lengthy legal battle with Ali Zafar, who hosted this year’s HSA.
Taking to her Twitter, Meesha Shafi slammed the awards and the management for supporting harassers. She wrote,
“1 sec… you harassers, this is old news. So no surprises. But shouldn’t ‘style’ awards atleast try to find someone with style 2 host their show??”

She then announced she didn’t need any validation from the channel and made it clear that she wouldn’t acknowledge any recognition or accept any awards from the organizations.
“And @HUMStyleAwards please stop nominating me I don’t need validation from enablers,” she added.
Criticizing the awards, she took to her Instagram Story and wrote, #DumStyleAwards.
Amid the fashion disaster, two divas were absolutely missed. An Instagram handle which goes by the name of @doctorblogger mentioned that Meesha Shafi and Mahira Khan were missed at the Hum Style Awards.
Replying to this post, the singer said,
“Thanks, I didn’t miss being there at all. This whole scene gives me PTSD”.
