Bushra Ansari is not one to hold her tongue when it comes to people’s snide remarks. Recently the veteran actress came under fire over her viral dance video from a wedding.
Recently many videos of celebs taking to the dance floor surfaced online. It was President of Hum Network, Sultana Siddiqui’s grandson’s wedding festivities. Among them was the Udaari actress.

Much like everyone else, she too showed off her moves on the dance floor. A video of the 65-year-old artist singing and dancing her heart out with singer Azaan Sami Khan went viral. Not because people loved how passionate she is about life, but to rain on her parade.
The veteran actress faced immense criticism. That’s when the senior citizen called out people younger than her to stop being a killjoy. The Mohlat starlet took to her Instagram to ask people why they can’t handle her happiness.
“I was in a deep grief from last 3 months and that loss is going to be in our hearts till our last breathe. 2 days ago it was a family dholki and all my friends were there insisting me to get out of the stress and my sadness. Hum TV’s family’s first grandson’ wedding is some thing special for Sultana Siddiqui and she is like a mother elder sister and a mentor, just tried to be part of her ‘khushi’ and got up for 2 mins with my son Azan to show my participation in their happiness”, says Bushra Ansari.
She explained how she was dealing with grief but wanted to participate in the festivities of a family friends’ wedding.

She added that the latter half of life is when people can let loose. Yet, at that point, they’re shamed for just being happy.
“Sad to see people’s reaction. They just want to see us unhappy because we are famous and specially when somebody is over a certain age, how pathetic. I am telling you this is the best age to enjoy life when u are done with all your duties and Alhamdulillah I have achieved so much in this age I don’t have any regrets if I am over 60.”
Bushra Ansari posted this note with images of supportive posts that affirmed her right to be happy and let loose.
Previously the starlet called out how since she became a grandmother, the public suddenly expects her to be someone else, not an artist.
