Mehwish Hayat has been one of the most vocal celebrities on the Kashmir issue as of late.
Recently a video clip surfaced of the Actor-in-Law actress refusing to speak on the Kashmir dispute at an event.

Even journalist Mehr Tarar thought the clip was taken out of context. Don’t judge a half-truth.

Mehwish Hayat hasnt done anything wrong
From a rational point of view, this is an actress who has no interest in working in Bollywood. Like Shaan Shahid, she’s made that clear.
This one instance of the Chhalawa actress refusing to speak about Kashmir to maintain focus on orphans makes sense.
What makes this an act of selfishness? All she did was try and maintain the limelight on the orphans she was there to promote through her platform. Its time people learnt to realize that knee-jerk reactions and outraging on social media can be counterproductive at times.
