TikTok has become a very popular social media platform for people to become famous. Many celebrities have also enjoyed the app to connect with their fans and followers. However, not all celebrity accounts are legitimate as there have been cases of people creating fake accounts under real celebrity names. Renowned Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat is the latest celebrity to have reported about a fake account under her name on TikTok.

Prominent actress and star of Punjab Nahi Jaoungi Mehwish Hayat made it clear that she does not have any social media account on the popular Chinese video sharing social networking service.
The Jawani Phir Nahi Ani star took to her official social media account on Instagram to report a fake account on TikTok impersonating her.
She urged her fans and followers to report the impersonator and unfollow the account called “@the_real_mehwishhayatt”
It is best to be careful about these fake accounts and report such impersonators as they tend to damage the public image of the celebrity.
While Mehwish may not be on TikTok, there are other well-known Pakistani actors and actresses that have an official account on the video-sharing platform.
Some of the celebrities include Yasir Hussain, singer Momina Mustehsan, Noor Hassan, and even Parwaaz Hai Junoon star Hania Amir.
The popular app has also helped launch the careers of some talented individuals like Jannat Mirza and Areeka Haq, who are now part of the showbiz industry. Both of these TikTok stars are have gone on to appear in music videos with various renowned artists.
