Memorable On-Screen Friendships That Give Us All The #FriendshipGoals

Best friends!

Great friends are like fresh air, or the first sunny day after months of gloom.  We have different friends for different seasons. Work pals, travel buddies, and rock-solid lifers, all play a role in sustaining us.

While television shows have dealt with romance in a time-tested manner, an intriguing friendship is something that only a few shows could achieve.

Surprisingly the screen world doesn’t always get it right. Historically, they have relied on frustrating tropes. From women fighting over men to competitive men who just want to bring others down or get murdered together without any bond. But now with the drama series reaching fresh heights, we’re starting to see more friendships on-screen that we can actually relate to. And, of course, there are a few golden oldies that have got it right all along, too.

Here we have rounded up the ultimate fictional BFFs from television. These are all the characters that give us major friendship goals.

Ehd-e-Wafa

Ehd-e-Wafa was a rare gem. From the cast to the story and even the ending, everything was brilliant and kept the audience on their toes for more surprises. The drama revolves around four friends, their strong bond, and how they face challenges in their lives but stay together til the end.

Parizaad

The super hit drama serial, Parizaad’s (played by Ahmed Ali Akbar) journey throughout the series left people sobbing. Along with a memorable story, Parizaad left a great impression on society which is hard to forget. The strong friendship between Parizaad and tomboy Bablu (Saboor Aly) is worth mentioning. How they helped each other through their tough times was truly great and both of the actors did justice to their roles.

Alpha Bravo Charlie

Alpha Bravo Charlie is an action and thriller Pakistani drama, produced by ISPR and directed by Pakistani drama and film director Shoaib Mansoor. The drama is based on the life of three friends — Faraz, Kashif, and Gulsher also known as Alpha Bravo Charlie. Patriotism, thrill, humor, romance, jealousy, and a sense of achievement all are packed into one and we were left in awe.

Diyar-e-Dil

Diyar-e-Dil was utterly brilliant, with impeccable acting, crisp writing, and a storyline that left moral imprints so grounded, the drama quickly served as a basket of life lessons for all. It also portrayed the great bond between the two brothers as being unbreakable in both older and younger generations.

While Behroze (Mikaal Zulfiqar) and younger brother Suhaib (Ali Rehman Khan) loved one another possibly more than life itself, the entire house brimmed with an exhilarating joy.

Kuch Ankhahi

The ongoing serial, which is on the brink of conclusion, also shows a great example of on-screen friendships, and that too between three sisters. The story revolves around them and their home in Karachi which is the disputed property between their father’s siblings.

These on-screen pairings reflect the spark, the stoicism, and the sheer unhampered silliness of life’s greatest friendships.
