Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Rizwan has a cute family moment with his daughters after the fourth T20i against England in Karachi because they were sad that he was not given the ‘Man of the Match’ award.
He may not have won the award but he has certainly won our hearts for being a great dad.
The Karachi leg of the Pakistan-England series came to a thrilling finale and the men in green snatched victory from the jaws of defeat in the final over.
The hosts were put into bat first and Rizwan scored 88 off 67 deliveries but the pace of the innings felt sluggish. Thankfully, Asif Ali came in the final over to smash two sixes.
Little did we know how crucial they would be.
England began its chase in a disastrous manner, losing three early wickets but steadily continued the chase.
It was an up-and-down game for both sides until Liam Dawson’s lethal cameo. With just five needed in 10 balls and three wickets, Haris Rauf became the hero of the night, removing Dawson and Olly Stone in consecutive deliveries.
Finally, England’s last man was run out in the final over, leaving Adil Rashid stranded on one end with the rest of the team all out. Pakistan’s victory means that the series is now level at 2-2. Both sides have everything to play for at Lahore in this exciting 7-match series.
After Pakistan’s thrilling yet classic victory, Rizwan had an adorable interaction with his two little girls in pink. Even though Pakistan won, the little ones were more concerned about their dad not winning the coveted award. He then explained to them that his batting just had not been good enough and Haris Rauf deserved it more for his late over heroics.
