Bol Entertainment, after the immense success of the drama serial Diriliş: Ertuğrul, has decided to air two more Turkish dramas in Urdu for its fans. Viewers will be able to watch these dramas starting from July 3.
One of the Turkish dramas that will be telecasted in Urdu is the series ‘AKINCI’. The story revolves around a character named AKINCI, who fights against terrorism. When he learns that weapons are being supplied to terrorist organizations in Istanbul, Turkey, he mobilizes to stop it. Meanwhile, a female journalist constantly pursues him, attempting to reveal his identity.
Another popular Turkish drama series is ‘DESTAN’. This story is based on rivalry and revenge. The character Akkiz, in his quest for revenge against Alpagu Khan, makes several mistakes, making the story unique and interesting.
From handsome heroes to glamorous girls, powerful plots to charming culture, dazzling dresses to stunning sets, Turkish dramas have lucratively carved an unshakeable supremacy on Pakistan’s television screens.
It all began in 2020 when the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, ordered Pakistan Television Network (PTV) to broadcast an Urdu-dubbed version of the Turkish Drama, Diriliş: Ertuğrul (Resurrection: Ertugrul).
Since then, a massive number of Turkish soap operas have hit the screens. Amongst them, there are a few outstanding shows by the Turks that etched a memorable mark on the minds of the audience due to their highly-addictive nature.
