Ms Marvel

Ms. Marvel continues to win over the desi crowd with its heartfelt representation of our culture. The show about a Pakistani-American superhero is making waves all over social media. Pakistani artists such as Eva B and Hasan Raheem’s songs are part of the soundtrack. Not only are Pakistanis over the moon seeing the likes of Mehwish Hayat, Fawad Khan, and Samina Ahmed in the MCU!

The Pakistani superstar Fawad Khan and Mehwish Hayat as Hasan and Aisha totally owned the recent episodes with their chemistry. Canadian critic and YouTuber John Campea recently declared them as the best on-screen pair he has ever seen. He quoted in a report,

“This may be the best-looking (comeback or comedy) movie pair. Fawad Khan is attractive and handsome, while Mehwish Hayat is stunning and smiles charmingly. I’ve never seen a better-looking couple.”

Even the protagonist Iman Vellani shared in her interview

“I grew up watching them and then I was like working with them, they’re so nice. And just the fact that we are bringing together you know India and Pakistan just through the music and through our actors. We have scenes where there’s a Pakistani and [an] Indian, a British person, a Canadian person, American all on one screen, that’s so wonderful and that’s what our show is about.”
