Pakistani TV anchor Mubashir Lucman is looking to take legal action against PTI member and Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry. The anchor filed an application against the minister in Lahore’s Model Town police station. The police have acknowledged the application, and stated that the matter will be handled legally.
What Really Happened
According to Mubashir Lucman, the Federal Minister as well as his guards pushed and subjected the anchor to torture and harassment during the wedding event of Punjab Minister Mohsin Leghari’s son’s. He also stated that Jahangir Tareen and Ishaq Khakwani helped resolved the matter between the two.

The Story Behind The Incident
The scuffle between the two can be linked back to Mubashir Lucman’s recent show on a private TV channel. The anchor is known for being controversial and too blunt, and on one of his show he salaciously linked Fawad Chaudhry to social media personality, Hareem Shah.
The Federal Minister didn’t take lightly to this allegation and according to sources, Fawad confronted Mubashir and slapped him at the wedding!

The incident was acknowledged by Chaudhry himself via a tweet on Sunday in which he questioned Lucman’s journalistic credentials. Chaudhry confirmed the incident when he retweeted the news story accompanied by some choice remarks for Lucman.
