Naseebo Lal Accuses Husband of Hitting Her with Brick

The singer has filed a FIR police complaint for domestic violence.

Renowned Punjabi folk singer Naseebo Lal has filed a police complaint against her husband, Naveed Hussain, accusing him of physically assaulting her at their home in Lahore. The incident reportedly took place in Shahdara Town, and an FIR has been registered.

In her statement to the police, Naseebo Lal alleged that she was sitting in the courtyard of her residence when her husband arrived and began verbally abusing her.

The situation escalated when he allegedly picked up a nearby brick and struck her in the face, causing serious injuries to her nose and the left side of her face.

Authorities have confirmed that the FIR has been lodged, and efforts are underway to apprehend the suspect. Police officials assured that the matter is being thoroughly investigated and that legal action will follow based on the findings.

Naseebo Lal is a celebrated singer,  known for her powerful and emotive voice. Hailing from a nomadic family originally from Rajasthan, India, which migrated to Pakistan after partition, Lal began her musical journey at a young age, performing at weddings and family gatherings.

Drawing inspiration from the legendary Madam Noor Jahan, Naseebo Lal has built a career spanning over three decades. She has recorded more than 1,500 songs in multiple languages, including Punjabi, Urdu, Marwari, and Pashto, and gained prominence through her performances in traditional stage shows and cultural events across Pakistan.
