Pakistani singer Naseebo Lal is in awe of Pakistan Super League (PSL) anthem’s success. Groove Mera received mixed response from people, and while some were ready to dish out criticism, others really appreciated the song and the artists.
Meesha Shafi took to her Twitter to praise the singer and wrote,
“Queen Naseebo Lal bringing this song to the pitch with her pitch. I am her biggest fan.”

Naseebo Lal is thankful for the love she received and in a recent interview, she said she never thought the cricket anthem would become such a hit.
Naseebo said she was happy to have performed Groove Mera for Pakistan and cried ‘tears of joy’
“Nobody gave me the chance to sing an anthem and neither was I given an opportunity to sing for [cricket] before. I am thankful to God for this opportunity.”
The singer is in awe of the tremendous love she received and feels proud to perform for her nation. Talking more about the notes and pitch, she said that it was a difficult song. The ‘notes’ she was required to hit were ‘tough’ and had they been ‘easy’, she ‘would not have been approached’ by the PSL management.
She thanked God and the management to give her the opportunity and said that it is her desire to perform national anthem as well. Perhaps, some day her desire will be fulfilled and she will make the nation proud once again.
