We’ve all been anticipating the release of Neelofar for ages, and now the Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan starrer has a release date!
The film marks the reunion of Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan onscreen after their breakout drama serial Humsafar. While we would have seen the duo return as an onscreen couple in the reboot of the 80s Punjabi classic, The Legend of Maula Jatt, that film’s release date ran into some trouble.
Neelofar release date also faced delays. While the movie wrapped up its shooting in 2020, its release was stalled like all other projects due to COVID-19 restrictions.
However, now the film is all set for release! IMGC will be distributing the film, they recently distributed Kamli. The movie will be a Christmas release and the makers are considering 23rd December for the release date.
Looks like this year we’ll see Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan get back together on screen in not one but two movies! While The Legend of Maula Jatt will be action packed, Neelofar is a love story.
Now we’re itching to see that chemistry we saw between Khirad and Ashar again! Neelofar is supposedly a very intense love story.
