Neil Patrick Harris is currently in talks to join the stellar cast for a fourth Matrix film.
According to the Hollywwod Reporter, the new Matrix 4 cast includes Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss.

It’s obvious that Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss are reprising their roles as Neo and Trinity, respectively.
Matrix co-creator and director of The Matrix, Lana Wachowski is directing the new installment under the Warner Bros banner. In August, Warner Bros announced that a fourth Matrix movie is officially in the works.
Lana Wachowski and Grant Hill are co-producing the fourth Matrix installment. She co-wrote the screenplay with Aleksandar Hemon and David Mitchell.

The studio is producing and distributing the movie with Village Roadshow Productions.
Currently there’s no official information about the plot or a release date for Matrix 4. There are reports that shooting for the fourth Matrix film is slated to begin early 2020.
The Matrix became a pop-culture phenomenon when it was released in 1999. The box office hit was followed by two sequels, The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions. The films have collectively grossed $1.63 billion globally.
