‘Our Village Has Lots of Restrictions for Girls, Here Our Baba Supports Us’: Aqsa Afridi Shares Insights On Eid Celebration

She shared difference of celebrating Eid in Karachi and their village

The ace player of the Pakistan cricket team Shahid Khan Afridi’s daughter Aqsa Afridi shared some insights about their Eid celebration in Karachi and their village.

Sahibzada Mohammad Shahid Khan Afridi is a Pakistani cricketer and the former captain of the Pakistan national cricket team. Afridi is widely considered one of the most popular cricketers in the country. An all-rounder, Afridi bowled leg-spin and was recognized for his aggressive batting. He has a huge fan following even after his retirement.

The cricketer is a proud father of five girls. His eldest Aqsa Afridi is engaged to be married to cricketer Shaheen Afridi.

Recently Shahid Afridi appeared as a guest alongside his daughters on the Samaa News sports show Game Set Match for Eid. His adorable daughters shared some cute snippets of their Eid routine on how they get Eidi from him and like to spend time with their cousins on Eid.

His daughter Aqsa also shared the difference between spending Eid in Karachi and in their village. She explained,

“We once spend our Eid in the village but we didn’t like it there. In our village, there are a lot of restrictions for girls but here our baba supports us and we enjoy ourselves with our friends and cousins.”

She further said that she definitely loves their village but Eid in Karachi is way better.
