Despite controversies and violent threats, including people pelting stones at protesters, the 2020 Aurat March finally happened in the different cities all over Pakistan with success.

This year’s march aimed to empower women all around the nation and demanded the end of violence, labor rights, environmental justice, reproductive rights, education equality, wage equality as well as equality for the transgender community.
