Shah Rukh Khan’s most recent cinematic venture, Jawan, is set to maintain its remarkable success, this time as it makes its way onto the prominent digital streaming platform, Netflix.
Helmed by Atlee, the movie that has been setting ablaze at the domestic box office is now geared up to enchant online viewers. Although the official release date on OTT platforms has not been disclosed, fans can anticipate a delightful cinematic experience, spiced up with a twist.
According to the reports, the Netflix version of Jawan will not only provide the convenience of streaming but will also feature an extended cut. These scenes, omitted during the theatrical release to maintain a reasonable duration, will be an added bonus for viewers, offering a deeper dive into the world of Jawan.
As a result, the runtime of the film is expected to be approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes, compared to the original 2 hours and 45 minutes in theatres. This extension promises to enrich the narrative and character development, making Jawan a must-watch for fans and newcomers alike.
The film’s success has been nothing short of phenomenal, crossing the coveted INR389 crore by the end of its first week firmly establishing its blockbuster status. Jawan now claims the title of the fourth highest-grossing Hindi film in India, joining the esteemed company of Pathaan, Baahubali: The Conclusion, and Gadar 2.
It is pertinent to mention that ‘Jawan’, the pan-Indian debut of King Khan co-starring Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sanjay Dutt, Deepika Padukone, and Eijaz Khan, hit the global theatres on September 7.
