Pakistani stuntman Sultan Mohammad Golden has landed himself in a controversy. According to reports, the world record holder is alleged of marrying a 12-year-old minor. However, Sultan Golden claims that his ‘wife’ is 19 years old and is of legal age.
Sultan Golden is one of the most well-known stuntmen and performers in the Pakistani entertainment industry. The man has become a household name as he has been performing daring stunts for decades now.
He performed at the Shandur Festival last year. The renowned stuntman was due to be paid Rs. 8.5 million for his services. However, the district administration decided to withhold his pay as Sultan Golden found himself in the midst of a child marriage controversy.

The 60-year-old stuntman married the girl in question around July. According to Sultan, the district administration created the whole child marriage conspiracy in order to withhold his due payment. The stuntman’s nikah with the girl had been reported to the district administration by a civil society organization on the grounds that she is a minor.
After receiving complaints, the district administration decided to launch an inquiry to confirm the girl’s age. According to the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), the girl’s vaccination cards and her school certificate stated that she was born on 10 April, 2008. The medical board also confirmed that the girl is 12 years of age and is, indeed, a minor.
According to news reports, the girl’s father had concealed her school certificate and fraudulently gotten a new birth certificate from the Sheshi Koh village council to show her as an 18-year-old. After recording their findings, the district administration had asked NADRA last month to proceed against Sultan Golden and the girl’s father, Azizur Rahman, under the NADRA Ordinance 2000 for committing fraud.
