Palestinian Journo Dubs Imran Khan ‘Ertuğrul of This Era’ [Video]

Palestinian journalist Jalal Al Fara acknowledged Prime Minister Imran Khan’s support for the Palestinians.

A Palestinian analyst called Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, ‘Ertuğrul of this era’. This is yet another proud moment for Pakistan as the PM’s efforts for a global issue are recognized.

In his appearance on Hum TV’s morning show, Palestinian journalist Jalal Al Fara acknowledged Prime Minister Imran Khan’s support for the Palestinians. Jalal Al Fara lauded the PM’s narrative against human rights violations in Palestine and Israeli violations of international law.

He even went as far as to called Imran Khan ‘Ertuğrul of this era’.

Jalal Ala Fara even lists Pakistan as one of the top countries along with Egypt that played a key role in de-escalation of Israeli strikes and establishing a ceasefire between Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and Hamas. Over a week of violence in the Gaza strip claimed 250 unarmed civilians including 66 children.

Responding to a query of the host, the Palestinian journalist marked Pakistan among the top facilitators of the ceasefire other than Egypt.

Aside from hailing PM Imran Khan, the Palestinian journalist also appreciated Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi for speaking up for Palestine at the United Nations Security Council (UNSC). Shah Mahmood Qureshi had urged the UNSC to issue a call for an end to Israeli violence against the Palestinians in Gaza, saying ‘it is time to say enough.’

Since being elected as head of government in Pakistan, Imran Khan has been vocal about a number of issues pertaining to the Islamic Ummah. This includes Palestinians right to self-determination amid the Israeli occupation, the rising issue of Islamophobia, etc.
